I keep reading claims that using HPS for both veg and bloom results in an overall increase in growth; basically saying that MH bulbs are inefficient and unnecessary. Has anyone tried HPS all the way through?
Believe that the spectrum of light from MH is important during the veg phase and that is why it is preferred. You should still be able to grow in veg with HPS but again not sure if it is optimal.
Doing this for years.
