We all know the feeling of cottonmouth, the unwanted side effect of cannabis. For those non-patients, basically after smoking, eating, or consuming marijuana in any fashion, the properties of the plant can cause the users mouth to become very dry.
Researchers have indicated that THC, the medicinal and psychoactive parts of the plant are mainly responsible for the condition known as cottonmouth.
There is a soon-to-be-released chewing gum that claims to combat the effects of cotton mouth, and even bring you from ‘high’ to ‘low’.
MPO board member and Michigan physician Kumar Singh adds, “the effects of CBD actually counteracts the effects of THC in many instances. A CBD rich chewing gum could, in theory possibly reduce some of the effects of THC”
The entrepreneurs testing this new ‘buzz killing gum’ wish to remain anonymous but have successfully brought to market several innovative products. They promise a product launch soon.
My question that was not answered, do you chew one piece to cure cottonmouth and two to sober up? We will share more as information as it is made available, until then stay hydrated.
