Top 5 Ways to Use Marijuana and Not Get High

We all remember our first time with marijuana, some of us recall brownies laced with the herb, but how many ways are there to reap the medical benefits of cannabis with out getting stoned?

  1. Tinctures – Since tinctures (typically) do not activate, or combust in the case of smoking, the active ingredients of marijuana, it does not produce delta 9 THC, the active ingredients that produce a “buzz” or mental euphoria and can be known to produce medical benefits without leaving you in a daze.
  2. Lotions – Balms and ointments are great for joint pain. The non psychoactive properties produce relaxation and relief in some individuals.
  3. Pills – When cannabis is not refined or heated to produce delta 9 thc, and the fresh flowers are ground into a pill form many physicians point to the remarkable properties of raw consumption of the plant.
  4. Hemp Vapor – With the rise in popularity of e-cigarettes or vaporizing, so to have marijuana users embraced the smoother form of in-gestation. Many companies are promoting hemp vape products that promote good health, and a safer alternative to tobacco. Medical applications can be compared to nebulizers, except the active ingredients are CBD from the hemp plant.
  5.  Shampoo – While little research has been done in to the area of cannabis regrowing or helping hair, several companies market hemp based hair products and some claim to regrow hair. As for me, no amount of grass will replace the empty field atop my head.

Many of these “non-high” products are widely available on the internet. I have personally tried all approaches and make no claims about curing disease or illness, but non-psychoactive forms of marijuana are a regular part of my lifestyle and I believe in their benefits.
