Today on an unseasonably warm fall day, members of the Oakland County Narcotics Team knocked on the the door at Sky High & Wellness Center, a medical marijuana dispensary in Pontiac, MI.
Officers forced their way in to the clinic, demanded full access and threatened to return in minutes with a warrant from a ready judge if they chose not to comply. The owners obliged.
Once inside the dispensary, a former retail bank branch, these men in black took cash, records, computers, any thing they wanted noted one dispensary owner. While no arrests were made, the officers told members of the dispensary, ‘I would not open up until after the November election, assuming the vote goes well for you’.
Possibly insinuating should conservative Governor Rick Snyder win re-election that little would change under his disapproving watch. It is rumored that the Governor will veto any progressive changes to Michigan’s 6 year old medical marijuana law.
It is estimated that Michigan has over 150 dispensaries operating across the State, with Oakland County being the most aggressive to these type of business.
When asked if you will reopen dispensary owners said, ‘we are weighing the options but definitely plan to vote next month, for sure.’
What a waste of time as I am sure that Pontiac has more pressing matters. What corruption. Vote Democrat.
This drug enforcement team collects the most money from drugs than any other department in the US. They receive no federal funds and are essentially an A Team with no real authority but all the guns and money. They are sick. The disguisting part is that Oakland county has the highest teen drug use in the US. They dont care about your kids, its all about the money for NET
It is always about the money and never about the patients.
The owners of this place are good people. I was shocked when I showed up today and seen the doors busted in and everything gone. The police broke the second set of glass doors to the building so I don’t think they did any knocking
Remember the Boston tea party and the beginning of the peoples revolt against the British pigs. The time is at hand that these fake ass leaders be punished.
