E-Cigarettes May Be Dangerous

So, first off I am not a scientist. I am confident of two things. One, cigarette smoking kills. And, that e-cigarettes may not be safe.

In addition to contributing to the MPO, I am also a state licensed caregiver and experiment with formulating extractions and various forms of cannabis to help patients. Recently I had the opportunity to prototype an e-cigarette infused with marijuana. Through the process I researched and purchased all the ingredients needed.

The case made for health benefits of vapor smoke over tobacco smoke sounds good, however, the propylene glycol that is necessary in its production of e-cigs doesn’t sound safe. A recent article from The Guardian reports that Japanese scientists found that e-cigarettes contain more than ten times the level of cancer-causing carcinogens than their counterpart, tobacco.

Take my simple advice, “smoke pot if you must smoke, if you do not want to die”.
