Medical pot legal for 70% of US, but zero athletes

How many professional athletes are currently in pain, and how many have died as a result from their on-the-job injuries. It is a shame that something so obvious like colliding into running 300 pound walls each day, 100 times a day, for 25 years would not qualify for treatment. No professional or collegiate sports organization allows the use of cannabis to help with chronic pain or more specific ailments.

Medical marijuana is now legal for about 70% of the US population in some form, but not one professional or collegiate athlete can use it. Gladiator owners in ancient Rome had a vested interest in their warriors; what sports-team owners are doing with their players today is barbaric.

[blockquote type=”left”]Are team owners so evil that they would intentionally deny their athletes the relief that cannabis can provide, safely? You bet they are.[/blockquote]

When a linebacker or your team’s goalie is busted at the airport for small amounts of pot the media reports it, cops draft press releases and that player is labeled a troublemaker. Team owners do not like trouble. Guess what happens to the pot-possessing goalies income? It drops. The goalies contract likely specified, in advance, that if he was caught with illegal substances he would forfeit $xxx, xxx.

Drug laws are big money makers for governments, sports team owners, cops, journalists….. Currently we know of 6 MPO members that are current or former pro athletes. If you are an athlete, or you are like me and far from coordinated, please share your story with us here >>
