I have several conditions that cause severe chronic pain. I was going to “pain management ” and all the did was get me hooked on end of life narcotic drugs., and I had no quality of life whatsoever. A friend suggested medical marijuana, I was hesitant at first but figured it had to be better than what I was doing. I tried some first without my card. And that was it. It worked so much better than anything I was taking, I was able to relax, sleep and know I was going to wake up. I thought I could get off all the Narcotics the doctor had given me on my own. Yeah right. Can we say MAJOR withdrawal. That’s what narcotics do, they make you go through withdrawal!! It’s not fun nor is it pretty!! I couldn’t do it. It lasted a DAY on my own and I had to get Suboxin from my GP. The weed helped so much with this as well. The nausea, the shakes everything. I am completely off all narcotic medication and ONLY keep it as a just in case in my cabinet. In fact it’s probably expired. The pot is all I use now. I do have a care giver, but I use the dispensaries for the things they cannot get. Such as the hashes, or oils just different things.
What the city, state and others involved in this shutdown are wrong on so many levels. They do not realize how many people they are hurting. Such as myself. So what, now we have to travel to unfamiliar places that may or may not be safe to us. Perhaps in a city we are not familiar with miles out of our way.
Thanks MI, Gov. Snyder our f’d up attorney general Schuette, Mayor Fouts and all the others involved in this ludicrous shutdown, and unclear laws. We voted to make medical marijuana legal. Fix the laws and leave the people that sell and use it legally and properly alone.
You are hurting businesses, people’s pay, and peoples health.
