Instead of explaining the long history of this plant, and its acceptance as a medicinal and recreational vise for thousands of years, or tally the number of deaths attributed to cannabis (zero), I can only conclude that the prohibition of cannabis is one of the biggest scams perpetrated against society.
From my seat, it is apparent that our judicial system has grown dependent on marijuana arrests and refuses to acknowledge any law that recognizes cannabis, even in states or countries where its use has been legalized. Policies are never changed and law enforcement are encouraged and actually promoted based on the amount of assets they seize (steal), and usually always from pot users. Pot is a gravy train, its prohibition accounting for over 80% of all drug related arrests and the single largest percentage of revenues for the policing industry, and not to mention, a far safer target to approach than violent offenders.
[blockquote type=”center”]The smell of marijuana is the gateway to riches for the courts.[/blockquote]
How many times has an officer said, “I see marijuana?”. More often the smell of pot is the chief reason for any investigation, and can ultimately lead to other charges and your assets forfeited (a gateway).
Defeating the courts is next to impossible. Any establishment will literally die to defend its existence, and continue its way of life (recall the Confederacy). The granite benches, criminal defense lawyer industry, and mahogany walls are all built with marijuana proceeds. Even if you are found to be innocent, your assets are still forfeited. You lose, they profit.
Since cannabis users are at such a huge disadvantage, despite laws that aimed to protect them, keeping the smell of pot contained is imperative and produces less encounters with law enforcement.
Activated charcoal is used to filter our water, clean our air and prevalent in several medical applications, so adopting this technology to cannabis storage was a way for my friends and family to remain safe. A business was born.
Since launching No Smell LLC in 2011, we have innovated our product offering, however, our functionality has remained true. Because our product is patented, coupled with a workforce entirely based in the US, the costs to manufacture has been steep. Our company has strived to lower costs, and we have been able to pass that savings off to the consumer.
Our most popular bag retails for under $25 and will hold up to one ounce of dried herbs, and most important, provide 100% detection from smell, even from trained dogs.
All kinds of factors will play a role in your safety; Do your hands smell, do you smell, do you understand your rights? But what No Smell can ensure is odor proof storage for your stinkiest of items.
