Starting using high CBD/low THC medical marijuana almost a year ago for extreme pain with degenerative disc (spinal) disease, fibromyalgia & arthritis. It has changed my life. Even the chronic depression that came as a result of the chronic pain is greatly improved. I am so grateful that it is legal In the state where I live.

i was told i had the onsets of degenerative disc.any preventatives that i need to go from here?
I have degenerative disc disease in my cervical spine. Pain radiating down from base of skull thru shoulders to tips of fingers. I am bi polar, diabetic w neuropathy. I have had 2 trees fall on me in 2 separate accidents. I suffer from PTSD after 12 yrs. As a medic. Marijuana takes place of most of my meds. I am not trying to say I am healed because I’m not but my life is a lot more tolerable. I smoked for years but also quit for years. During the time I had quit I was institutionalized for mental reasons. Also I was arrested for being drunk and resisting arrest. Was in and out of hospitals for debilitating pain and pain pill abuse.
Long story short I been smoking for 6 months and happy to say pain is tolerable havn’ taken insulin or other meds except for a pshyc med. For someone to say marijuana has no medical purposes is insane. I live in Va. Where it’s not legal and I guess technically I’m an outlaw. Consider yourself lucky u live where u do.
Jason,I was reading this article and came across your comments about having degenerative disc disease and bipolar and also use marijuana as medicine. When I was reading it was like I was reading my own words. Would love to chat with you sometime. Look me up on facebook sometime (Marianne Langlais- or email me at marianne.langlais21@gmail.com
