After a recent scan of the Michigan Department of Community Health’s site regarding the Medical Marijuana Program we noticed something disturbing. Under the Frequently Asked Questions section was the following:
- Question: Can patients form growing cooperatives?
- Answer: The law does not address this. Consult with your local law enforcement officer or personal attorney.
Police cannot give legal conclusions, they cannot even opine as to a legal matter. Police act, they do not think. The thinking is left to the attorneys.
