I have lived with chronic pain for over 25 years. Been on the big pharms all of that time. Started having issues with my liver, so my doctor suggested that I start using cannabis to help with the pain. The only draw back that I have is that Michigan doesn’t allow patients access to safe meds. They cracked down on dispensaries and without them when I run out if meds from my caregiver or while putting in a caregiver change I have to rely back on the pharms. The only time I would rather be using pharms is if I’m outside if the house because of course I’m not able to medicate.
Another drawback is that we can’t use edibles or concentrates. I am glad that the state does allow use of medical marihuana, just wishing that soon cannabis will be legal and removed from class 1 scheduling.
