One thing is sure, large employers do not want to pay more money to their employees. While everyone blames police officers for their blatant attempts to lobby and advance the war on drugs (people), it really is in fact the largest corporations on the planet funding tougher criminal laws and restrictions. Anything to keep wages low. You pee dirty, you had a felony? You’re hired, but at minimum wage and don’t ask for a raise.
Since our ‘beef’ is truly with McDonalds, WalMart, and KFC, why don’t we legalize marijuana at the federal level, absolutely legalize it, give cops no more gray areas to continue arresting people, however, we codify that employers can still drug test for cannabis and discriminate based on positive results.
It seems like a lot to give up, but this is the only way us sick can continue using and adults can consume without jeopardizing their freedom. It seems like a very pragmatic, and libertarian concept, yet slightly unAmerican. It could just work.

That is wrong. You should be able to work and also have your meds. If it is legal to use prescriptions than I can use my meds given by a doctor. Marijuana is a healer and no one should be fired for saving their live for it. Legalize and do not discriminate.
